We stopped here for the night in our motorhome after driving half way home, we had a delicious steak and ale pie (the beef was so tender) the desserts were also very good! The staff were attentive, happy and approachable. Will definitely add this to our stop overs when we head up that way again!

Absolutely fantastic food and service, couldn't fault it! Booked for a party of 11 through FB messenger- responses were fast and friendly. We were able to pre-order so service on the night was spot on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic quality food, and great portion sizes for fantastic value. Will definitely be returning, many thanks!

Booked for Sunday lunch for father's day. Was able to get our choice of time we wanted. We were quickly seated and drinks order taken. Was given our menus where I was pleased that they offered a range of other dishes beside Sunday lunch. We chose starters and roast dinners where we asked for mash instead of roasts and this was no problem. Food came out quickly and was good size for both starters and mains. Food was fresh and tasty. Overall impression very good and will return.

Where to start. A fantastic venue offering lovely meals ranging from Sunday roasts, curry's, steaks, pies, fish, lasagne's and many puddings. Large range of ales, lagers, ciders, spirits and cocktail's. A very large function room capable of hosting over 200 people. Tidy games room with 2 pool tables, a dart board, quiz machines, bandits and juke box with a massive selection of music. Clean and tidy toilets for the pub/restaurant and function room. Fantastic beer garden slabbed and grass with a play garden for children with the sun hitting it from earlier hours til late at night. Please see the attached photos of the menus and food. Whole heartedly recommended family owned / ran and orientated pub.

Although we live fairly close this is our first visit here. We booked for Sunday lunch. The staff who met us were friendly and those who were waiting on were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food arrived quickly and our plates were followed by a large dish of vegetables. More than we could eat. The meal was very well cooked and we would not hesitate in recommending this place to eat and we shall certainly return.

Lovely cosy, relaxed atmosphere that made families feel welcome. Staff were kind and checked in on us throughout are time there. Proper pub grub at an amazing price. A fantastic find. We will be returning.
